Some amount of stress symptoms are programmed into us as a way to protect us. Stress is necessary in some situations if you’re wondering how to make a marriage work because it makes our reaction time faster. If you are feeling symptoms of stress and there is no immediate emergency, you could be doing more harm than good. That’s why people who are stressed out often get more colds, episodes of flu and other illnesses that may seem random. The unfortunate result is that your relationships on the personal and professional levels significantly suffer, which only serves to highlight the need to find ways to counteract stress. Stress can make you think you are having other serious medical conditions when you’re really not. Some symptoms of stress such as difficulty breathing, lightheadedness and chest pains are indicative of a panic attack brought on by stress. Of course if you or someone you know experiences any of these symptoms seek immediate medical attention as they can also be of a more serious nature. Even if it does turn out to be stress related that too is a serious issue that needs to be addressed no matter how it’s ultimately treated. Your physician can help teach you ways of coping with stress in order to keep these symptoms from happening or at least minimize them.
